Mort Fotouhi
Writer / Director
After establishing a career as a Pharmaceutical Engineer, Mort Fotouhi felt a pull toward his true passion: filmmaking. He subsequently enrolled in a film school in Michigan, USA. By 2009/2010, he had produced and directed several fictional and documentary shorts. His exemplary skills were recognized at the MPI Film Festival where he received a special mention by the Jury for Best Director and Cinematography for “FACADE.” Mort marked his foray into feature filmmaking with “AFTER HER SMILE” (2024). In this film, he artfully melds his unique elliptical storytelling with the nuances of Jazz filmmaking, characterized by a lean crew, on-the-spot improvisation, and authentic on-location shooting.

Based in Toronto, Canada, Roger Singh is a distinguished cinematographer and filmmaker with an impressive portfolio that boasts over 50 credits spanning film and television. Beyond his prowess in cinematography, Roger has also ventured into producing feature-length documentaries. His exemplary work has earned accolades and awards from renowned platforms such as the Rhode Island International Film Festival, the Accolade Global Film Competition, and the Edmonton Festival Of Fear International Film Festival.
Tim Beck

Los Angeles-based composer Tim Beck, originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, boasts an impressive filmography with over 60 credits listed on IMDb, including 6 full-length features. His exemplary work on “ON THE BRAIN” earned him a nomination for ‘Best Musical Score for a Feature Film’ at the esteemed Idyllwild International Festival for Cinema. In addition to his composition achievements, Tim showcased his musical versatility by playing guitar for the score of “JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS,” a major motion picture by Universal Pictures.

RANDOM MUSINGS OF NOSTALGIA is a poignant short documentary delving into the evolution of Ann Arbor’s (MI) art scene since the 1980s, as recalled by three local enthusiasts. Captured in a near-unscripted and real-time format, the film intimately chronicles an afternoon where these three individuals, each with unique perspectives, gather at their favorite coffee shop corner post-work. Seamlessly weaving humor and inherent disagreements in their dialogue, the documentary also offers a contextual glimpse into the rich cultural and historical tapestry of Ann Arbor.

Filmed against the evocative backdrops of Savannah (GA) and Michigan, FACADE delves into the tumultuous life of a middle-class professional during a painful family dissolution and ensuing division of marital assets. Pushed to relocate to an apartment amidst the chaos, Paul finds solace in architectural photography as a means to transition into his new life. After embarking on a photography journey, he returns only to find that the property once shared with his spouse and daughter is now facing foreclosure. Battling feelings of despair and jealousy, he contemplates burning down the house. However, poignant memories of bygone days ultimately tether him to a more introspective path.
